Google News gets new look with social media features

Google News has been updated with social media sharing features along with every news and expandable sections for news cluster with a little different look. Now users can view either one or two columns of news links beneath Google's "top stories" cluster in a section called "news for you". Chase Hensel, associate product manager of Google News, writes in a blog post
"Each story cluster is collapsed down to one headline with the exception of the top story. When something grabs you, click nearby anywhere but the title to expand the story box."
The social Media buttons including Google Buzz, Twitter, Facebook are just below the main news headline next to the source and time of the news.

Seems like Google is making some moves to make its products more social. But don't you think Google has made it too late to do this? I guess they should have done this way before. Anyways, it's never too late.
